Coaching YouTube Channel
Have you ever wondered whether there should be a Coaching YouTube Channel where short, powerful videos relevant to coaching are housed? A cool idea right?
So okay, a question for you. Would you like to see something like this created, and if so, why? What would you use it for, what would you like to see on it, and how? If you could wave a magic wand and create the best possible ‘thing like this’ for coaching, describe.

Well, I could see two uses for it:
1) A professional development resource for coaches, and
2) A resource for coaches to upload their coaching videos, making it easier to lead clients and prospects to good info.
The former, I don’t think exists. The latter, you can find such content on YouTube and Google Video, but it’s not easy.
I think this concept would make it much easier to provide this kind of content to our clients.
Hi Carma, thanks for this clear thinking; I like where you’re going.
To help this along some, is it possible for us to collect some examples? So, like, for (1) videos that teach coaches something useful for their craft, is that right? and for (2) coaches could upload their own videos, of themselves say, presenting or coaching, so that prospects could see them in action and decide to hire them or, current clients could watch nuggets and get a coaching boost via video…
Am I on the right track? For me, I have real difficulty watching long video online. I think it’s an age bracket thing. Any thoughts on those kinds of details — length, etc? How can we avoid the coaching video channel becoming a slew of commercials that no one gives a bleep about?
Aren’t the EFT (www.emofree.com) people doing this by demo’ing the work? Could we have a sort of demo of the importantance of coaching environments…I don’t know I’m playing with this idea…I love technology…what about coaching tips (like tut.com) delivered to our mobile (cell) phones???
