Subject: If You’re a Woman and A Coach, You Could Be on TV

SEEKING TELEVISION HOST

Award-winning production company Force Four Entertainment is seeking a EXPERT HOST for their new national television series for the W Network called THE REAL YOU. Force Four has over 24 years of experience creating lifestyle and documentary programming.

In each episode of THE REAL YOU, the HOST comes to the rescue of one woman who finds herself stuck in a rut. Who is she really? What are her true passions, hopes and dreams? What lies beneath the surface that has the potential to transform her career, relationship, style – her whole life?

‘PERSONAL BRANDING’

The HOST views personal branding as a tool for attracting one’s ideal, but only after the necessary steps are taken to find out what their ideal really is. The HOST is passionate about helping people transform their lives from the inside out. The HOST inspires each woman to take charge and bring their truths to the surface to help each create her own personal brand.

THE HOST

The series revolves around a compelling female HOST who:

- In her real profession helps women discover their true selves.
- Is passionate about promoting, encouraging and directing women with ways to discover their authentic selves, their inner desires and hopes for the future.
- Directs each woman through a series of challenges that lead to self-discovery.
- Acts as a coach, confidante, and mentor and gives the tools each woman needs to discover their true selves.
- Taps into each woman’s true passions, talents and desires which result in an individual “brand package” representing who that woman really is.

‘THE TRANSFORMATION’

Living one’s brand is challenging – it could mean discovering that the life one is living, the job one is holding, and the values one has been aspiring to, are completely wrong for them. In the end the subject may discover that her current job is not at all what her inner self desires. She discovers talents she never knew she had. She finds a style that reveals her true image. She may even decide to find a new man – one who brings out the best in her.

The HOST is not afraid to tell it like it is. Her philosophy is that one should not conform to expectations, but rather draw out each woman’s inner passions and truth to then create the personal ‘brand’ that is perfect for her.

WoW Andrea! Thanks for sharing the information about this opportunity! I am so happy and thrilled to see these amazing possibilties popping up!

I’m wondering what is the best way to set up a coaching resume. Is it best to follow the traditional styles or is there a new format that I’m not aware of? I’m feeling like I need some tips, ideas and strategies to get me started.

Thanks for your offer to help!

  3. I’m curious about what most production companies are looking for in a coach who will be either onscreen or simply on air as in radio.

I had the opportunity to submit a video of myself for the show Rhonda Britton was on filmed at a house in Chicago (name escapes me now).

When I am in “coach mode” I am sincere, warm, engaging… but NOT necessarily show ready animated. Wondering where the balance is in how much a coach has to be an actress/tv type vs. a good coach.

I ask this partly for the filmed audition that is required and just in theory, to know what reality shows are looking for.

Lastly, is the question of integrity. Reality shows love to TELL clients what to do vs. the coaching style I’m more used to that is a mix of facilitating discovery and advice. I wonder how much integrity is sacrificed to sell.

Thanks for sharing this and happy your predictions are coming true.

What is happening with the Hosting applications for “The Real You” any idea??

  5. Sue says:

Force Four advertises for a host and then doesn’t even have the courtesy to answer emails or respond in any way to those who have applied. This company is unprofessional. Force Four is the one who needs coaching!!
