Many of you have read my rant about The Secret and even posted comments ranging from ‘Right on!’ to ‘Go to hell!’ After seeing The Secret featured on Larry King and then Oprah (twice) I thought, let’s tighten the screws a little bit.
Put The Secret to work for you for 30 days! What can you manifest in 30 days using the so-called law of attraction? What if you just did nothing different for 30 days – would anything change?
We’ll be starting on March 1st and continue through the month with 2 teleconference calls and a worksheet to chart your progress.

Skeptics are real bummers, LOL. I have been using the Laws of Attraction and Deliberate Creation for over 10 years. The principles work for me.
In quantum physics the observer influences the outcome. Why then would anyone who follows the Law of Attraction hang out with a skeptic for a month debating this? Maureen Dowd’s column this morning was the best ever on how to use the Secret with George Bush and the War in Iraq. Why don’t we focus as a community on that aspect of this discussion?
Andy’s original rant on the Secret and now this latest offering seems to be driven by his need for attention, and wanting to be seen in the media as the “anti-secret go-to guy” (like he was with the Kerry campaign). Self-serving. Sad, so sad. Miracles are all around us, we just have to open our eyes. Bless his heart, he just can’t see it.

I’m afraid I have to agree with Michele’s comment — though it’s with reservation because imputing motives to others can become an unproductive slippery slope. Resistance in any of its forms is not conducive to the free flowing of positive energy.
…which makes me wonder why you seem to be promoting (rather than simply reporting on) Andy’s experiment.
What’s different about Elyse Killoran’s 30-day manifestation project from Andy’s is that she comes from a place of abundance and positive belief (which is the bias from which she is operating) while Andy’s is from a position of skeptism and doubt.
Your public criticism of systems, people, and even (perhaps, especially) the field of coaching, Andrea, is always informed and examined rather then knee-jerk and condemnatory.
You always are very aware of your high profile in the coaching world (and as a practicing coach) and that with it comes high responsibility.
That’s why promoting Andy’s anti-secret contest seems incompatible with your deep sense of spirituality: “Money and Meaning.”
I wrote a blog entry relatively recently in response to Andy’s original “secret rant,” which I hope you have opportunity to look at and let me know what you think.
It was written with love and respect for Andy. Indeed, he has accomplished great things.
Ironically, it probably has more to do with application of the principles of The Secret than he is either aware of or prepared to admit.
