Yoga for the Mind: On Katrina
Whether we have family, friends, clients or colleagues there or not, I know each of us has a piece of our hearts at the Hurricane Katrina site right now.
For continuously current information about the situation, the Wikipedia.org site is a good alternate or supplement to the standard news channels which can become difficult to watch for long periods of time:

For whatever you can do to help, financially, through cash donations, comprehensive information is available at the reputable and trustworthy ‘Network for Good’ site. The links include precisely what help is needed most, where and when, local shelter locations, how to best donate to charity during a current crisis, how to help children understand a crisis, etc.:

Even as we struggle to feel fully the rippling effects of the disaster at hand, and *respond* fully in whatever way we can, I know it comes home more than ever why it is we build our lives and businesses with a coaching approach. We do it so we can help others. I’m sure you’ll agree, the degree to which you can help others right now, big or small, all is precious…is tremendously profound.
I can’t help but wonder, are you as determined as I am to redouble my consciousness of what life is for and how we can serve? I hope you’ll join me in continuing to put one committed foot in front of the other, to build businesses that matter.
More than ever, I hope you know that you matter very much; your life matters, and your life work: creating what matters, matters to everything.
Abiding love,
a
