I’m reading a new book called “Marketing Convergence How the Leading Companies Are Profiting from Integrating Online and Offline Marketing Strategies” by Susan Jones, available at Amazon.com.
Very fascinating.
Just the other day I was talking to my hairstylist, asking, “Do you collect email addresses for following up and promotions?”
No, she said, why would I? Pausing as she snipped.
(Hmm…I wonder, “Should I wait to have this conversation?”)
But no, ever the brave, I continue…it could probably double or triple your business. It’s called “convergence,” and it’s all about using online marketing techniques to build business offline, and vice versa.

All you small business coaches out there…don’t you just love opening the world up for your service providers? And don’t you love treating them as your coaching clients even as they provide you with a service…clean your clothes, polish your shoes, do your taxes, cut your hair?
I don’t do free coaching sessions, but I love helping my favorite hairstylist…go figure.
